Now theres devotion.
Neil Brewer, who hails from Edinburgh, cycled the 110 miles from Preston yesterday in the wind and rain and arrived absolutely soaked.
We managed to dry his things overnight, so with the weather much better today his journey to his hometown of Edinburgh should be less painful. Hes looking forward to getting there because hes missing his kids.
Neil is cycling to raise money for devotion.

Alan and Chris
Last nights visitors were Alan Bond and Chris Dodd who hail from the Manchester area.
This is Chris and Alans first go at LEJOG and are raising money for Motor Neurone Disease.
Their highlight of the journey so far has been their epic battle against the elements crossing the River Severn into Wales
Todays weather started off a little drizzly as they cycled into the wide blue yonder.
Details of their plight can be found here
and their charity here

Pop star and family
I was mowing the lawn when I noticed a cyclist across the road hopping about and clutching his leg.
Being a good samaritan I invited him and his friend over for coffee and biscuits.
One of them turned out to be the bass player from Kasabian no less.
Jason and Chris Edwards (brothers) are cycling Lands End to John O Groats to raise money for the teenage cancer trust. With dad along as support driver.
This is their first attempt at lejog and so far things are going well, apart from the odd stomach bug and high winds over Shap.
More info can be found at http://www.teenagecancertrust.org
