One of their highlights so far has been been seeing a solitary bagpipe player playing on the top of a hill on the A82 which they describe as the worst road in Britain. Another highlight has been to reach the border.
The pair hope to reach Sedburgh tonight and also want to include a detour to Ribblehead in their tour.

Jacq and Ross made it back home to Bath today (they continue to head South in the morning) so we heard tonight about some of the accommodation highs and lows so far; you will be pleased to know that your B&B was one of the highs! Jacq's sister
