Husband and Wife team Jacqueline Bond and Ross Mansfield from Bath are cycling from John O Groats to Lands End on behalf of the Peggy Dodd Centre for dementia care.
One of their highlights so far has been been seeing a solitary bagpipe player playing on the top of a hill on the A82 which they describe as the worst road in Britain. Another highlight has been to reach the border.
The pair hope to reach Sedburgh tonight and also want to include a detour to Ribblehead in their tour.
Jaqueline and Ross's charity page can be found here.

Thank you for the comments.
Its nice to know that there is more than just me who reads my blog.
Good Luck with the rest of the trek.
Thank you for supporting Jacq and Ross in a very practical way. Clearly your help enabled them to continue with the next leg of their challenge. Thanks again, Jacq's Mum and Dad.
How lovely to read not only about Ross and Jacq's peddling achievements, but also all the other inspirational stories too! A welcome break from work - keep bloggin' :-D
Jacq and Ross made it back home to Bath today (they continue to head South in the morning) so we heard tonight about some of the accommodation highs and lows so far; you will be pleased to know that your B&B was one of the highs! Jacq's sister
